Actually if you hadn't bitten him, being expelled would be the least of his troubles. He'd be awaiting trial for murder. The headmaster couldn't have covered up for that.

I don't understand the attitudes at all, especially your father's. You nearly got killed, and everybody expects it to be just a normal day.

On the one hand, I'm worried you might be developing post-traumatic stress disorder. On the other my instincts and experience are that getting the head-shrinkers involved usually makes things worse, particularly if they prescribe drugs.

I suspect the worst is over. If you just keep facing the school day after day, the cretins will find some other topic to interest them.
