Great story as always. Robbie definitely had a memorable graduation, one that he and his friends can hopefully laugh about in years to come. It certainly was unique!
Glad to hear Sam is ok and recovering. Makes me wonder if he may have been side swiped by a car. Many years ago I used to ride my bicycle to work and twice I was forced off the road by vehicles. It happened in the same spot each time and I wound up in the ditch. Neither car stopped to see if I was ok. In fact no one did. Fortunately the only injury each time was to my pride, but the second time I decided I would no longer bike to work but drive instead for the sake of safety. Each time it happened so quickly there was no time to think.
One time my oldest brother was riding his bicycle down a really steep hill in our town when his brakes locked up and he was thrown over the handle bars onto the pavement. No broken bones but a serious case of road rash and sore muscles.
Glad both boys are now doing well after their ordeals.
