Yes, I'm being a little more careful these days. Dr. Bell confirmed last December that I had an umbilical hernia. I don't remember exactly when or how I got it, but I first noticed it in late September, and I suspect it may have had something to do with dragging baskets with 350 lbs. of steel parts across the furnace room floor to the fan area. Dr. Bell said it was okay to lift and drag heavy objects and didn't recommend surgery, but I still think I won't exert myself quite as much as I once did.
The overalls that withstood the mud bath the previous weekend fell apart at work on Friday. I guess they only seemed all right, and that strain put them in a weaker state. I'll have to remember not to buy that brand again.
I have found that Capsacin ointment helps with arthritic knee pain.
