Thailand Adventure April

I am heading back to Thailand in April for another wet Songkran festival.
Spending some time in Bangkok and then Chiang Mai.
Last year I visited and spent some time partying in Chiang Mai city before spending a day out at Huay Tueng Tao, the lake north of the city. Lots of wet thai guys swimming around in their jeans and shirts and things.
While I was floating around in my shorts/boxers/tshirt/socks/shoes kit in the water I spent some good time chilling with the local thai guys, watching them slowly walking into the water in their jeans and watching the water rise up their pants and then watch them go deep enough to get fully soaked.
Anyone else familiar with northern thailand, or perhaps going to be visiting in April?
