I have been swimming in jeans a few times, but only in outdoor lakes and rivers and the sea.
Although swimming in clothes does seem to be getting more acceptable for a variety of (non-sexual!) reasons, that was the first time I've ever seen anyone in jeans in a public pool.
I hope it's the first of many more!
