Well there are the usual distractions like mud stomping, mud sliding, puddle jumping, and puddle wallowing. I'll sometimes go off trail and bust through wet brush, but I've heard that in more densely populated areas than mine the authorities tend to frown on that.

Now if you ever decide that you want to fit in with the crowd, I've seen old film from the mid 20th Century depicting that it was considered perfectly normal to climb Croagh Patrick in the rain. You'd probably know better than I if that's still a thing.
