I first saw Jake back in June at a demonstration in Scottsdale. I only spoke to him briefly, so I didn't know him very well. He had changed his outfit in December. He wasn't wearing the fur hat with horns, and he was wearing a shirt and sport coat and wearing a bandana on his head, but he still looked peculiar, because he was carrying a spear when he spoke. I was surprised that he was going shirtless in DC, as it gets rather cold there in January.
Yes, he has been arrested and is being held in the Maricopa County Jail. I think he will be moved to a jail in DC, because under our constitution, people have to be charged in the district where the crime took place unless a judge has good cause for granting a change of venue. I don't know all the details, but I suspect he will at the very least face charges of trespassing on federal property and participating in an unlawful assembly.
