I like the down to earth aspect of the profession--in which I like to wear jeans and work boots, especially when performing tests for density, viscosity and lubrifaction. And then, of course, there is the ubiquitous concupiscent nature of working in the various mixed media that is particularly appealing to the most discerning practitioners.
