Today I noticed the tide would be out at a good time and know where there is some secluded tidal mud. Nothing ridiculously deep mind you but it's been years since I tried it. I wore adidas trainers, socks, thick fleece tracksuit bottoms  (dark blue cantabury) and an big orange hoodie. I started slow but eventually ended up knee deep trudging through it. I had forgotten how black and creamy it is and ended up plonking down on my knees. Wow it was nice! Tracksuit bottoms were so caked and heavy but most of it fell off leaving a black sludge behind. It was great coverdale my trackies and the hoodie got a good splattering too. All in the wash now I managed to rinse most of it off in a stream that enters the sea near there as the tide was starting to turn. Great day and highly recommend!
