Great account, we've done that sort of thing a few times and it is always fun seeing everyone riding along in their mud soaked clothes and watching how the colours of jeans and shirts change when they get wet. Uncle Dan has a pair of khaki swim-shorts that are a light tone but change to a deep grey-green when he gets them wet and it looks like he might have changed them whilst swimming as they look so different. They also get very shiny and clinging, but that's another story entirely.
