I did that once but instead of boots I had my friends sneakers on as I had only one pair and needed them to get back home so my friend loaned me his brand new box fresh still with tags Nike high tops he wore his trashed sneakers it was his plan to trash the new ones as well so there was no loss there. When we got back to where the car was we bathed in the creek there still in our clothes. Got into my car with plastic drop cloth on seats went back to his place got hosed off again stripped off outer garments in his garage. Went into the house wearing our robes took hot showers put the wet now some what muddy clothes in the wash got dressed in clean dry clothes includes dryer but not totally dry shoes and went into his bubbling hot Jacuzzi to get all and toasty warm.
