Check out the pix and stuff from the 2019 Canadian movie Brotherhood. It's a true story of a bunch of kids at a camp in the 1920s that set out on an Ontario lake when a storm came up and the canoe capsized. I think 11 kids ended up drowning. There are interviews from the actors that said they spent almost 10 days in a pool filming the lake scenes. 10 hours a day in the water. The first few days they wore custom wet suits under their clothes but they said the water was heated to bathwater warm, so they ended up ditching the wetsuits and just wearing their clothes. They said it was warmer in the water than out of it, so they spent much of the time, including their breaks in the water. There are photos on the movies IG of the actors eating food while still in the tank in their clothes.
