I know they have in the past! I don't remember what movie it was, I saw an interview where a teenage kid was in a boat with a girl and the scene called for him to dive off the boat into the water. It was a rowboat. He said he thought it was funny that they needed a stunt double for him to film him diving into the water, even though that's how he got off the boat to film the next scene.
