George Strait has been a singer far more often than he has been an actor, but I believe he genuinely enjoyed being wet fully clothed in "Pure Country" (available on Youtube Movies code FlQ17K-U0EU), and this is why:
The character he plays, Dusty Miller, is clearly an alter-ego--he's a popular singer, and what is depicted is clearly a fantasy Mr. Strait had at some time. He plays hooky from a concert tour.
When he should be singing on stage, he's getting very drunk at a small town bar. At 45:30, "Dusty," barely able to walk, leaves the bar for a downpour in the parking lot. He's standing there in the pouring rain with a big smile on his face. He was clearly enjoying himself.
