Normally, I can keep our Florida pool open well into December for many fully clothed swims.
With El Nino in charge of our weather, the first cold front hit early December and we have been well below average since, with all nights at least in the 50s and several into the 40s. My poor pool heater can't compete with that.
So, the pool sits in the lowers 60s which is much, much too cool for me and long range forecasts keep us in the 60s for highs and 40s and 50s for lows, so my fully clothed swimming is suspended until Florida type weather returns and it looks like that could be some time yet.
