Have seen similar videos and articles. You do definitely have to be quick and agile! As a former mail carrier my concern would be falling in with letters and other mail still in my hand which would be sopped and also trying to retrieve any letters before they drifted or blew away. Had an experience one winter where wind took a letter right out of my hand and blew it right into the middle of a cow pasture. Had to crawl through a barbed wire fence and drifts of snow to retrieve. Then every time I went to grab it the wind would take it and blow it even farther away. It was like a scene from a Charlie Chaplin movie.
Would probably get fired for spending more time in the water than actually on the boat, but it does sound like a great job.
