I would think: "Look, what a hot smart guy, looking cool." But what other people think is none of your business. You go and enjoy yourself as much as you wish.
On our local beach I usually swim in sportswear, like swimshirt, running tights or tracksters, with an anorak on top. Sometimes jeans, tee, and hoodie. I prefer hooded garments to protect my head, neck and ears. On Aliexpress you can get hooded swimshirts for ca. €10 which I wear often.
Most people don't bother with what you wear or don't notice, some ask what your training goal is. I'm a lifeguard, so swimming in clothes is part of my training. Great feel good fun.
