I'm not really into mud except for maybe slipping and sliding in it if there's somewhere nearby like a river or lake I can clean up a bit afterwards. Regarding colder water, it's fun when you can get warm again reasonably soon (such as jogging along the beach) but not if it gets windy and you're sitting down or lying on the grass. I know how far to go without starting to feel chilly. I love wet shoes (but hardly ever wear socks). I've seen one woman in my local pool swimming in her shoes (generally they're not allowed in the pool for hygiene reasons). I'd love to as well, but if it's a choice between swimming in shoes and swimming in a long clingy dress that floats and swirls around me, the dress wins every time :) :) Always fill your day with wonderful things :)
