I have an interesting relationship with shirts, so to speak. I also love going into the water with my shirt on. I've tried wearing a rashguard swimming, but I don't think they feel as nice as a t-shirt. At least when I was younger and not quite so heavy, when I was away from the water, I also loved being shirtless. I once took a week off work years ago and when I got home decided to challenge myself to see how long I could go without wearing one, and it was almost the entire week with my shirt off.
I can understand being shy about both of those things. For a long time, I didn't realise that wearing a shirt swimming was something a lot of people enjoyed. Luckily, living in Australia, it's now very common to see people swim in a shirt so I've learnt people tend to leave me alone when I do it.
