Aha! Squish's pool party in Deptford. My first (and arguably only) Wacky Wet gathering. So you were there too... but were you using a different username then? I don't remember all the names anyway. I think I didn't actually try swimming at all, I mostly waded around and floated on a mat. I'm still not a strong swimmer but I've demonstrated on several occasions that I swim better when wearing more! You're right that I soaked "3 outfits", except that I kept the same jeans on and just changed my top. If I remember correctly, I wore (in whichever order): a tan long-sleeved T-shirt which turned dark brown and clingy when wet; a white acrylic sleeveless sweater which was translucent when wet, letting my skin show through; and a thin pull-on hoody with a paint-splash design and "Splatz!" printed on it. They all felt great in the pool.
