I had a really strict stepdad until the 8th grade that wouldn’t allow it either. Though back then I didn’t mind that rule as much since I didn’t like getting my clothes wet anyways. However there was a time in 7th grade when my next door neighbors were playing outside in a huge rainstorm in their clothes. They kept trying to convince me to join them, and I bet they would have succeeded if he wasn’t around.
