Wonderful Wedding Dress Swim
Being Tuesday, today was a General Swim, where many swimmers wear teeshirts and/or skirts. I of course swam in my lovely clingy wedding dress, with my Smiffy's tie-dye flouncy-sleeved smiley hippie top and swimshorts (no heels unfortunately -- shoes aren't allowed in the pool for hygiene reasons -- anyway my "Lillie" heels were recently re-innersoled at Barbara's after the cardboard lining went a bit mouldy, lol). Despite wearing the belt, the long swirly skirt did drop over the top of my head a couple of times, but nothing that a few extra dolphin kicks couldn't fix :) Luckily the wedding dress was lined, as it went quite see-thru once in the pool (which is why I wore the tie-dye top OVER it, rather than under it. On getting changed after the swim, I was surprised how heavy it was, compared to what I normally wear :) It was a lot of fun twirling round and dancing in the deep end, with the skirt swirling around me. Always fill your pool with beautiful alluring mermaids :)
