When u both do it in the summer do it with ur shoes and socks on I've worn numerous pairs of shoes in the water never ruined them. I did a bike ride with my friends once we ended up at a local lake and jumped in fully clothed including our high top basketball shoes 👟 and knee length athletic socks 🧦 also had our backpacks on with 3 additional changes of clothes in snd 3 more pairs of high top basketball shoes 👟 and knee length athletic socks 🧦 everything survived the dunking.
