I haven't had any trouble with the local pool canmanagement letting me swim in fashionwear (kaftans, boho skirts, umbrella dresses, etc. I just used the boiling frog social engineering technique (I wrote about this in the old wacky forum -- try wayback machine) . Basically, start with swimshorts and a rashguard, then for the nexr swim, wear leggings and/or a tank top also, and work your way up over the week so tht the 'guards know you can swim in that lot. Corduroy, denim, umbrella dresses, wedding dresses, whatever you fancy :) Many people are surprised at permissible swim choices. For example, today (being Thursday) I swam in a Smiley hippie minidress and umbrella dress over the top, plus boho flouncy-legged trousers. The lifeguards have *never* thrown a wobbly about this. on Pink Tuesdays I swim in an ankle-length boho skirt and a Riverdale hoodie -- these are really heavy when drenched, and are a lot of fun to swirl around in in the deep end :) I may be reached via any of my wammy pix on DDG (comment field) or via the aiwetlook message scrolly. Always fill your day with wonderful things :) Don't reply here -- I don't use this dreadful BBS :)
