The 2024 pool party was again wonderful :) 16 people attended, due to its wide advertising on DDG and J&J's. The most popular outfits seemed to be hoodies and baggy jeans, but kaftans, wedding dresses, and boho skirts were also represented. Only one attendee wore proper swimwear, but was persuaded halfway through to get some of her dry clothes out of the locker and was promptly thrown in the deep end by two of the lifeguards :) The pool management helpfully supplied floats so we could all tip each other off randomly. They are thinking of running these pool parties monthly in the summer. There may be a prize for the most fashionable outfit. Hint: don't try the fly in a hoodie unless you tuck it in, or it drops over your head when you dive down :) And don't reply here on this forum, as I can no longer read it (luckily). Now, guess who swam in the wedding dress *and* wedgie heels *and* swirly boho skirt :} Always fill your day with wonderful things :) Oh, and Sarah never turned up (YAY) She is scared of the deep end hehe. Oh, and I bought all Barbara's stock of Riverdale hoodies, so tough luck you lot :) Again, don't bother replying here, try J&J's or aiwetlook.com : )
