For me, it's simply a bit more of a "why not"? As I said in my story on the other site, dry clothes feel dry, wet clothes feel wet. So what?

Hehehe, but in all seriousness, wet clothes mainly feel to me like stress relief - like I'm washing away the stress from my everyday clothes or squelching out the stress from my shoes. And while it does do that, it also does so many other things :). I also do like the thrill of it being against the social norm. For example, the other day we had a big rainstorm and I went out for a walk in it and purposely walked down into that water feature I fell into before. Walked back to the dorm soaked because I love how it feels and love watching to see if anyone walking past me notices or looks at me. It doesn't bother me if they do - I am known a bit around campus for doing this, but I look more for the people I don't know and how they react. I like any reaction that I do get.

Fun fact. Back when I was in second year, I had this crazy idea to spend an entire day soaked. But I wasn't going to re-wet at all through the day - just start my day in the shower with my clothes and shoes on, then not change for the whole day. I was still very damp by the end of the day, but not really noticeably damp unless people knew what colour my grey shirt should have been, hehehe. Got several reactions, none of them bad. Who knows (and who cares) what people were actually thinking inside (compared to the verbal reaction they gave me, especially early in the day when I was very visibly wet).

Now for the above, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it because my feet needed some major maintenance after. I ended up with bad athlete's foot and a bunch of blisters. But it was still worth it. (Not sure if others have experienced that. If so, I'd love to do this again - suggestions to avoid athlete's foot?)

Again, I just love wet clothes!
