I used to go to sleep in damp clothes when I was a teenager. PJs, mostly. I used to get wet by myself in the bathroom, but I couldn't let my parents know I was doing this, so it was a way of hiding the evidence. I would rely on my body heat drying the clothes overnight.
I've done this a few times as an adult, too, more with lycra and sports gear. It's great fun, the only problem being that I'm normally too horny to sleep properly!
Anyway, the solution to a lot of your problems is to always have a waterproof mattress cover. I can't quite believe anyone who is into wetlook doesn't already have one!
