I love football kit even better when it is soaked or muddy. I could not get to Bourton on the water, but during the summer when it was hot I did jump into a river not far from me in my football kit. One of the days I wore my 2XL long sleeve white man-u shirt, 2XL white shorts, socks and shoes. I stepped into the shallow part of river and then walked farther down stream away from the other people playing in the river to a deeper part of the river that I had all to myself. I knelt down and let the water turn my white footy kit transparent. Finally, I laid down in the river and enjoyed feeling the river flowing over my football shirt and shorts.
I kept my soaked footy kit on and let the sun dry me. The only glitch I had was lots of small stones that got into my shoes.
