A While back, a post appeared in the Mud Pit Forum having to do with a terrific mud scene in a Disney film which, in fact, turned out to have appeared in film entitled, "For The Love Of Willadean." It turns out from the number of Follow Ups to the original post that a fair number of us "muddies" were inspired or "jizzed" early on by this scene in which teen actor, Michael McGreevey, gets tossed off a bucking horse into a big sloppy mud puddle in his blue jeans and tennis shoes. He slips and falls in the mud a few times trying to stand and get out of the mud, all the while his kid brother and a neighbor boy are laughing at him as he is quite embarrassed and indeed mad at having been tricked. I must admit that, I myself, have enjoyed sort of re-enacting certain aspects of that role through the years--notably the "unintentional" or "accidental" fall in a mud puddle and then slipping and falling in a few times trying to get out. Part of my schtick, too, is feigning being pissed off that I fell in. Of course, I enjoyed every minute of the adventure in actuality. My clothing of choice for mudding includes a pair of cuffed Levi's or Lee Blue Jeans, pocket tee shirt, white socks and polished leather moc toe oxford shoes. Here is a link to one of my videos on YouTube. Turn up the sound and enjoy:
