The music industry is really cashing in on the wetlook scene, which means we get a lot of good images to ogle at.
Every now and then they put out a bunch of wet videos; this comes and goes.
Ballads are usually the wettest videos, water representing sensual feelings, sometimes tears.
Other videos have a sporty or party feel, with pool or beach scenes, foam parties, and the like.
Backstreet Boys
The Backstreet Boys are often seen having fun in the water.
They probably have to relax and cool off between recording sessions.
The best soaking these guys got was in their video 'Quit Playing Games'.

Gareth Gates
It appears he likes a good soaking just like the rest of us.
You may have already noted his cover of "Spirit in the Sky".
Then this game lad did the old "bath of baked beans" stunt so beloved of charity fundraisers.
He seemed to be very much the mascot of the appeal.
This wasn't even sponsored as far as we're aware, but was a photoshoot commissioned for one
of the two commemorative "Radio Times" covers,
the other was French and Saunders in Harry Potter spoof mode.
Apparently when Roger Daltrey similarly posed for a 1967 Who album sleeve
he wore only an Edwardian one-piece bathing suit and caught pneumonia as a direct result,
vowing never to go near a baked bean again.
Gareth wore the now obligatory wetsuit under his gunged kit.
Gareth's third effort for the charity saw him endure months of filmed driving lessons in "Celebrity Driving School"
revealing a latent tendency for stutter-less road-rage.
Alas, along with all the other celebs, he failed his test.
Smothered in a bath of cold baked beans on one of the special covers
(recreating a famous album cover by The Who 36 years earlier!) is Gareth Gates,
who tells Radio Times that his music is moving away from pop,
that he's fed up being seen as just a pretty boy,
and admits to not having a girlfriend.
"When people say I'm just a pretty face, it really hurts me," he confesses.
"I don't have a girlfriend and there's not much I can write about past experiences."

"Yeah, we just swim in the pool with all our clothes on, get all our stress out."

Hanson
Should Hanson be honorary WackyWet members?
Well, we've seen them in the
pool several times fully
clothed. Hanson don't even
strip down to their bathers in
the pool. "Last night we had an
interesting water fight, trying
to soak each other. I threw Tay
in the shower and turned it
on." said Isaac
Some more of their "weird"
habits: Zac and Tay share
clothes. Zac likes to wear
Taylor's Adidas shirt in the
pool. But he's also
supercreative and quirky (he
collects miniature shampoo
bottles from hotels around the
world).
Throughout their shows, the
band members would set down
instruments, pick up
water guns, and soak the first
few rows of the crowd. They
love swimming in clothes.
In the "MMMBop" video you can
see them briefly at the beach
in wetsuits. The music track
was produced at the Dust
Brothers' laid-back studio,
complete with swimming pool.
Hanson felt completely
comfortable working there.
"We jumped into the Dust Brothers pool with our clothes on!"
Taylor Hanson says the brothers
were told to relax and enjoy
themselves when they made the
album. "It was cool meeting the
Dust Brothers," he says. "We
recorded stuff in their house
and messed around in their
pool. Zac played the drums
soaking wet on one song." says
Taylor.
Zac loves "jumping in". As one
of his first acts, Zac jumped
in King and Simpson's pool
fully clothed, then walked over
to his drum kit and began to
record - watching, of course,
for any dangerous wires that
could come in contact with his
wet shoes ("MMMBop-bzzzzzz,"
Zac says, faking
electrocution).
He played the drums "soaking
wet" on parts of the MMMBob
album. That atmosphere typified
the recording experience, which
Isaac characterised as
"relaxed."
