I never did feel guilty because it was all done in the open and did not seem odd or strange, it was just fun. I can't help feeling that this is the better situation to be in.
I believe it is natural for kids to want to try something that their parents openly dissaprove of (I tried a fag only once after hearing my mum go on and on to my older brother about never smoking. I was nine and felt so sick afterwards I never tried again).
