On that hot Sunday afternoon Mike and Robin had spent two long hours in the camper van travelling along the coast. Robin wore long black cargos and a loose fitting white T-shirt. Mike was dressed in a jogging suit with blue long sweatpants and a yellow hooded long-sleeved sweatshirt.

It was very hot in their camper van, but Mike was still wearing his sweatsuit because he only had white cotton shorts underneath, and he didn't want other drivers to see him in the car in only his underwear.

Small Beach

When they saw a small beach near the road, they both thought that it might be time to have a little rest. They parked the van and ran to the beach where some guys enjoyed a game of beachball. Mike rolled the sweatpants up to his knees and stepped slowly into the water. The water was soft and warm.

"It's too bad that we don't have any swimsuits with us," said Robin.

"Maybe we should go in without clothes," suggested Mike.

"No! It's too close to the road, everybody can see us here!" Robin protested.

They were just standing on the beach and looking at the nice small waves. It was a hot sunny day, and suddenly Robin felt that he was so sweaty. It was very uncomfortable to stand on shore, under the warm sun, clothed in dark long cargos and T-shirt. "There are no strangers to worry about, I'll go swimming in my clothes," he thought for himself and stepped slowly into the warm water.

"Look! You're getting your clothes wet!" said Mike in disbelief.

"I know," smiled Robin, "it's too hot to stand around in this heat. Besides, they will dry soon."

He slowly moved deeper and deeper. The warm water rose up his legs and reached his loose fitting white T-shirt which turned almost transparent. It was such a nice feeling. He slowly lowered himself into the water, completely soaking himself.

"Come on in, the water is just perfect." he said to Mike. To his surprise, Mike didn't step deeper into the water. Instead he just slowly sat down just where he were, in knee-deep water, in his full sweatsuit! Mike's soft yellow sweatshirt turned darker, he continued to lower himself, until he was completely underwater. He enjoyed the waves washing over him.

First Swimming Lesson

"Hey, come in deeper, let's go swimming together!" Robin shouted.

"Unfortunately, I can't swim." Mike replied.

"I can teach you, just come deeper." Robin insisted.

As Mike stood up, his soaking wet sweatsuit looked like plastered to his beautiful body. The water was gushing out from his hoodie. He walked in deeper and deeper until the water was up to his waist. "It sure is a lovely feeling to get wet in clothes," he admitted.

Robin decided to show him how to float by doing it himself. He floated perfectly, even his wet and shiny black cargos could be seen reaching the surface. Then he told Mike to lay on his hands, and showed him how swimmers must keep their body.

First Mike tried to float on his back, just below the waterline. His chest was just visible above water, covered only by his shiny wet sweatshirt. Then he turned over and laid on Robin's hands. He was almost covered with water, just his wet glistening backside was seen above.

Even Robin noticed it and said, "It looks like you're wearing a beautiful, good-fitting divesuit."

"Thanks, it also feels very nice." Mike replied. "I've never swum in my clothes before, but I'm sure I'll do it a lot in the future."

Chilling Out

They spent a long time in the water, later just laying in shallow water near the beach, still in their wet clothes and talking.

"This is great, I really like swimming in my clothes now." said Mike, "These wet warm sweatsuits feel so soft and comfortable in water."

Robin: "Yeah, I must try it too some time. I have a friend who is working in a local pool, I hope I can go and try that with him. If you're interested, you can go with us."

"Certainly!" Mike agreed. "It was a good thing that we didn't have any swimsuits with us today!"

They drove home in their wet clothes, since they didn't have a second set and it seemed they both enjoyed the feeling of being soaking wet.
